Gigantic predators like the Wyomingraptor, a massive relative of the Allosaurus from the mainland, roam these lands, while miniature creatures such as the Shanshanosaurus, a tiny tyrannosaur no larger than a household pet, demonstrate the fascinating phenomenon of insular dwarfism. Herbivores have also adapted uniquely to survive against formidable predators, developing remarkable defenses.
