Description

Load unzip and load Duke Boomem 2.5 WAD and any Doom or Freedoom IWAD into any limit removing sourceport such as DSDA, Odamex, Nugget, Woof. GZDoom, ZDoom and Zandronum also supported with better perks on Duke player gameplay, but monsters remain the same. This isn"t a copy of Dn3Duke or Don Ramone.

hey really really love the new update 2.5D. so far i"ve got one issue the bizzare liquid splash it causes the game to lag everytime theres splashes and its huge. this happens in Gzdoom sourceport. looking forward to getting this fixed please thank you. kalensar

Just depends on what you are playing it on. The ZDoom family does the small bonus stuff. The WAD itself is meant to be entirely universal, and seems to test that way.

The SSG in ZDoom family goes through an animation of loading a shell one at a time. just cake icing nonsense I like. The BOOM type format does the vanilla single reload animation.

THe shotguns, and all guns and monsters and noises were sourced from Don Ramon Duke Nukem V10 mod. If somethings look a tiny bit weird, I had to resize everything except the Player HUD weapon sprites basically.

Both duke boomen are my favs. But the oldes versiĆ³n was feeling better. Just missing the kick as a alt fire

That version is still available for DL right from here at ModDB. It is archived but still download available. This version is just the most true to my original mission for the mod because it finally includes all the monsters.

This mod is NOT pure ZDoom oriented. It should play with anything. The main work is not the GZDoom/ZDoom Side, its actually being able to run most ports except DOS or Chocolate. Thats where the Boomem name comes from.

Technically its just a sound and reskin of everything, but I had to resize all of the monsters manually and pick the appropriate sounds(reformatted the sounds too for Doom). Theres still more stuff to add, but this is 90% of the work done.
