We all know that there are cut voicelines in English for the Wish Granter.
We also know that they are raw, with zero mixing. Simply what Steve Blum said into the mic when (probably) THQ brought him into a voice acting booth.
How to fix this?
Fanmade magic, of course! Take the voicelines, put them into Microsoft Movie Maker, slap a bunch of reverb, lo and behold, pure garbage!
Seriously, this shit is such garbage. Blum's voice just doesn't have Podubinskiy's deep bass. It just sounds like the Wish Granter smoked too many ciggies while listening to Pachka Sigaret. And not only that, but Blum said the lines too quickly. Podubinskiy said them slowly, lazily, but very clearly, like a supreme being above humanity.
But still, add a bunch of reverb, it starts sounding just dreamy and wish-granter-y enough.
So here it is! My rendition! Accidentally made it sound a little bit like Stalker 2's "Come To Me" trailer (see monolith_call_7). I didn't mean it! It just happened!
Have fun! Let this be another forgotten micromod. Totally not uploading it here because I made it for mod.io console thingy then felt like I needed to gloat on the PC side too.
Install instructions: Put gamedata folder into STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl folder. Go to fsgame.ltx, change $game_data$ line to say true | true
Compatibility: All mods which do not change Wish Granter sound files (i.e. 99,999% of mods).
