Geemers are creatures that are evolutionary offshoots of Zoomers.^[1] Geemers are more resilient to attack, taking more shots or being immune altogether. They are always vulnerable to Missiles. Their appearance is similar to Zoomers, but red in color. They are sometimes shown with retractable spikes. In Metroid: Other M, they also have increased intelligence, following their target. Like Zoomers, they are also considered pests on Zebes.

First Location: Tallon Canyon

Wall-crawling mollusk with retractable spikes. The Geemer is an evolutionary offshoot of the Zoomer family. When threatened, it extends lethal spikes and retracts its head deep into its armored carapace.^[1]

A small but dangerous creature that exposes sharp spikes on its back when threatened. This scavenger is known to forage through human refuse and is an infamous pest on Zebes.^[3]

The spiked shell of a Geemer is rather durable and can only be destroyed by an explosive blast. While menacing in appearance, they are nonaggressive scavengers that feed on the waste of other creatures. This food source has led to them being spreaders of many types of diseases.^[4]

NTSC-U: These creepy crawlers from the Metroid series cling to any surface, even the ceiling. The spikes on their backs are painful to the touch, so be careful around them. In Smash Run they'll travel on the floors and ceilings, so borrow a page from Samus's book and take them out from afar.

PAL: If you spot one of these creatures from the Metroid series crawling along, do your best to avoid those spikes on its back. In Smash Run, they could be on the floor, or they could be on the ceiling. Either way, you'll get hurt if you touch them, so keep a safe distance and take them out with ranged attacks.
