Variant of | Lift |
White boxes[1] are large lifts in Super Mario Sunshine. They resemble translucent cubes with white rims and colorful corner pieces, like a toy block. White boxes appear only in the secret courses of Bianco Hills and Casino Delfino, in which they move and rotate along set paths. While white boxes can be stood on by Mario, in some contexts they function as obstacles that can push him off other platforms and down pits. White boxes vary in size, and some have faster, more complex movements than others. Some necessitate Mario keep moving while on top or else risk being tossed off their side.
