MortonKoopa204[edit]
Hi, do you happen to be the same user as MortonKoopa204 (talk)? Just letting you know that creating multiple accounts is not allowed here, so if you've lost access to that account (you've forgotten your password, for example), please let me or an admin know as soon as possible. If you still have access to MortonKoopa204, please continue using it. This is the third time you've created an account already, so please stick with the one account and don't do this again. Mario JC 19:45, 14 January 2017 (EST)
- Since you failed to reply, your other account has been blocked. Keep in mind that new accounts are not to be made to start a "clean slate", so any record of reminders/warnings still carries over. Again, as this is your third account, please don't lose access to it, as any future accounts you make for any reason will be blocked. Mario JC 05:41, 6 July 2017 (EDT)
hey[edit]
I've heard of you the Yoshi co. 3.05 pm
Lakithunder[edit]
Please do not add fan-made images to mainspace articles. I've marked the file as one of your personal images should you wish to keep it for your userpage; otherwise, you can mark it for deletion with delete. (It will be deleted eventually if it is left unused, however.) Mario JC 02:11, 30 July 2017 (EDT)
- I should also mention you're only allowed four personal images. Seeing as you've already uploaded four of your works, you've reached your limit, unless you choose to delete some. Mario JC 02:21, 30 July 2017 (EDT)
- To add, File:WingedSpinyShellMK8.png is going unused but File:MKDS BlueSpinyShell.png was deleted. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 03:37, 30 July 2017 (EDT)
Categories[edit]
Hey, nice to see you're doing some category work! Just remember, though, according to policy, if a more specific subcategory of a game category exists, we use only the most specific one. So since you created Category:Mario Kart Wii Items, which is a more specific subcategory of Category:Mario Kart Wii, Category:Mario Kart Wii can be removed. Mario JC 23:56, 4 August 2017 (EDT)
(Sorry, I meant the Category:Mario Kart Wii link should be removed from the article when adding the items category, not deleted altogether.) Mario JC 02:12, 5 August 2017 (EDT)
Per MarioWiki:Categories#Order on pages, when listing categories on a page, it should be general, type categories first (e.g. Category:Standard bikes) ordered by significance, then game-specific categories (e.g. Category:Mario Kart Wii bikes) ordered alphabetically. Image Category Reminder[edit]
Hello, RoyKoopa510. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Also, File:Spiny.png violated our MarioWiki:Image use policy in two areas: JPEG to PNG conversion and applying transparency that resulted in poor results. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 23:44, 30 October 2017 (EDT)
- I understand. --User:RoyKoopa510/sig
Please keep this reminder in mind since your last two uploads were missing these. Mario Kart Wii images should have the uncategorized
replaced with
Mario JC 23:21, November 6, 2019 (EST)
You're still forgetting to categorise images. You need to replace uncategorized
with an image category. Mario JC 22:04, July 6, 2020 (EDT)
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (not categorising files) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You were reminded multiple times for this. Please do not simply remove uncategorized without adding a category link. Mario JC 22:08, August 29, 2020 (EDT)
Same Image Uploads[edit]
For File:FakeItemBoxMK8.png, I see the same upload seven times. You only need to upload once. It may look like the upload didn't take. It did. Just refresh the page or Ctrl F5
. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 23:53, 31 October 2017 (EDT)
you LIKE POW block and thunder cloud?![edit]
those are HORRIBLE Items. MKDSFTalk!
in sm4sh the POW Block is OK
and super leaf well it was a dissapointment. only mario turns into racoon form and the others just get a tail (like mario kart 7) it was a mediocre power-up for sm4sh Mario Kart DS Fan (talk)
Forum talk[edit]
Talk pages in articles are not meant to be used for social banter between users, they are meant for suggesting improvements to the article itself. If you want to chat about the POW Block's removal in the Mario Kart series, we have the forums for that. Ray Trace(T|C) 18:52, 29 November 2017 (EST)
Media Files[edit]
It is recommended to not use *.ogg file extension. This is easily fixable, as Help:Media describes (I recommend the redlink method). Also, List of Mario Kart Wii media is lacking the retro course music. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 13:29, 1 January 2018 (EST)
- You seem to have forgotten about categorizing the music files you upload. In this case, it should be . Also it is recommended that you either fill out the aboutfile section with a description of the file or remove it altogether instead of leaving the default info there. LuigiMaster123 16:55, 1 January 2018 (EST)
- Thanks for the reminder. RoyKoopa510 (talk) 16:59, 1 January 2018 (EST)RoyKoopa510
Moving files[edit]
When moving files, in addition to changing the names on the pages, please remember to mark the old names for deletion with delete. Keep in mind as well that in the future, unless the old name is something completely unrelated to the image itself, it's not necessary to move files to a new name if the original name is descriptive enough. Mario JC 22:20, 7 January 2018 (EST)
- Oh, sorry. I thought renaming the files would better match the names of the POW Block and Fake Item Box. Anyway, thanks for the reminder. RoyKoopa510 (talk) 22:45, 7 January 2018 (EST)RoyKoopa510
Mario Kart Items[edit]
I respect your opinions. MKDSFTalk!
re:About The Items In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the pow block is "VERY" annoying, and so is smoke ball, although i though all the items were returning. MKDSFTalk!
Using images[edit]
Hi, just letting you know that images should generally be used as soon as they are uploaded. Thanks! (T|C) 11:15, 24 February 2019 (EST)
Superball Flower[edit]
About your comment on the SMM2 talk page, which has been deleted (not by me); if you were looking for verification about the Superball Flower, it is indeed returning, as shown in this video. If your comment was just voicing your opinion about the Flower, you are free to do that on your userpage, but not on the article's talk page. It is for improving the article. JoeRunner (talk) 17:09, June 27, 2019 (EDT)
Large project[edit]
Hi, regarding your recent edits to Mario Kart (series), this is something that should be worked on in your sandbox first. I'm going to revert all of your edits on the page for now, so please remember to use your sandbox for larger works in progress so that you can place them on the desired articles in one edit once you're done. (T|C) 20:47, November 28, 2019 (EST)
Broken file links[edit]
Please don't add non-existent file links on pages until they've been uploaded. Mario JC 06:40, June 19, 2022 (EDT)
