Personal images[edit]
There is a great deal of images you have uploaded just for your userpage. I need to let you know that you can't upload an infinite amount of these images, and the limit is four. Please keep this in mind while you are uploading more images because some can and will get deleted. Thanks and keep contributing.
Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 12:35, 28 December 2013 (EST)
- Unfortunately, neither I or you can delete personal images as it is administrator powers. However, you can add this template: MarioKartDoubleDash to each image file you want removed to mark them for deletion. Just go on the image page, click on the edit button, and add this somewhere.
- Before you mark these images, however, it may help to upload at an external image uploader, such as imgur or photbucket if you want to keep these images. Thanks for reading, and I hope this advice helps.

Mario Kart Wii Hack[edit]
Are you familiar with .szs files? You need an SZS modifier and the appropriate files. You need to change your Wii's system language to another language, such as French or Spanish so you can modify the names. Your nicknames' character count should be equal or shorter than the name provided. So, some names have to be modified. I tried naming Luigi, Gay Guy, for instance, but I stuck with Gay™. I do like your names, however, such as calling "Mario" "Maria" (I call him "Fatso"), and I especially like "Monkey Boy".
P.S. I also like your Gmod pictures. You don't know how I feel to ask you to mark them for deletion. :( Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 21:48, 30 December 2013 (EST)
File uploads[edit]
As per this file names with nicknames are not allowed. File names should be descriptive so please upload them with more accurate names. The ones you have uploaded have already, or will be moved to more suitable names. Yoshi876 (talk)
File summaries[edit]
Please don't write humorous file summaries like this as they need to accurately describe the image, thanks. -- ( • ) 20:51, 11 January 2014 (EST)

Smash Bros. models[edit]
Your Smash Bros. models and other n64 models aren't valid because they're hacks from Brawl Vault, cropped from their preview screenshots. Ray Trace(T|C) 13:38, 14 June 2014 (EDT)
Thomas Spindler image[edit]
Have you verified that he is 'that' Thomas Spindler (and by verified I mean contacted him and confirmed his identity), or did you just take the first image you could find? We don't need another Leslie Swan fiasco. 68.198.70.54 21:54, 28 June 2014 (EDT)
Mirror Mode[edit]
It's usually not worth it to upload simply mirrored sprites (you can do the same thing in photo editing programs such as GIMP). If the game provides mirrored sprites, however, you can upload it, especially if the character is asymmetrical. See Gallery:Mario Super Sluggers and Gallery:Super Mario Strikers to check if this is what you'd like to do. Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 00:23, 8 July 2014 (EDT)

Personal image warning.[edit]
You currently have too many personal files. Users are limited to a maximum of five personal files, which can be used on your user page and/or for a signature on talk pages (see the personal file policy for details). Please select the personal files you would like to keep and mark all others for deletion using the delete template. If you have not relinquished your extra files within one week of receiving this notice, five files will be selected for retention at random, and the rest will be deleted. If you continue uploading more files and exceeding the limit, then a warning will be issued. |
I see you have too many personal images. You have 6' and the max is 4. Please delete 2 of them. Joseph (talk) (contribs)
You have 4 more days to put a delete template/abandon personal image template' or they will randomly be chosen to delete. Please save your favorites' and sacrifice others. Thank you' have a nice day. Joseph (talk) (contribs)
You didn't have to do it to all of them' only 2 of them. Joseph (talk) (contribs)
I've already done two of them. --MarioKartDoubleDash (talk) 09:18, 11 August 2014 (EDT)
Nabbit and stuff[edit]
Sorry for the tad late reply, I'm not terribly active around here. Anyway, maybe upload your image to imgur because I have no clue what the image is going to be like (I haven't played New Super Luigi U). Or, you can point out Nabbit in the image description. Re:Ripping[edit]
I can't think of a way to rip at-least-decent quality of voices from those games, but if I ever find a way, I'll tell you. Sorry! Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 16:09, 30 June 2015 (EDT)
Reply[edit]
The file was deleted because it was a duplicate to the original file (which has higher resolution). If you want to find high resolution artworks, you should visit PidgiWiki.
Re:Koopa[edit]
They just sound computer generated rather than people making it for them. Frank Welkher doesnt' voice all sound effects. Ray Trace(T|C) 01:22, 26 February 2016 (EST)
Re: Least favorite characters[edit]
I just heavily dislike them for their annoying voices and that I often have to go on the defensive because some irritating people seem to get really hostile when I express my dislike for Yoshi and others, which has probably exemplified my dislike for Yoshi as irrational as that is. Low Quality Mario Golf 64 Images[edit]
Three things for your your recent uploads for Mario Golf (Nintendo 64):
- Try to make the uploads first before editing pages, such as your edits to Bogey. Don't worry, uploads are logged if you lose track of yours.
- The uploads should have inserted for easier maintenance.
- You should try emulation. See my WIP, specifically the sections about N64 emulation and where to get save files.
Hope this helps. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:54, 18 July 2016 (EDT)
- What a bummer! I guess that leaves three options:
- Tag your images with image-quality
- I can replace them (I can do 14/18 characters through cheating them out)
- I can get others to replace them (the remaining 4 characters)
- --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 22:43, 18 July 2016 (EDT)
- This doesn't apply anymore! I figured out how to get the remaining four characters through emulation. It was all Transfer Pak related. I am absolutely new to Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for GBC and N64. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:14, 20 July 2016 (EDT)
RE: HD Pictures Request[edit]
Sorry, I don't have those games. :( I think either Bazooka Mario (talk) or Baby Luigi (talk) have them though. If not, tag those images with image-quality at the very least. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:58, 27 July 2016 (EDT)
- I know. There's a few complications with that:
- Don't have the game. Never played it. Therefore, I have no idea how to trigger that cutscene in the screenshot. I was able to replace your Mario Golf screenshots because it wasn't too hard to figure out how to trigger the condition.
- Getting a disc image of the game. There exists legal hurdles obtaining game data. The only legal way you can obtain disc images of the game is the use of CleanRip. This tool provides good dumps of disc images, but it requires you own a copy of the game. I use Redump to verify I have a good dump.
- Talking about getting games for emulation is a controversial topic. I'd rather not talk about it. The only exception is #2 because that is legal on the grounds that at least US copyright law permits the practice of creating back-ups of your media (not limited to GCN/Wii games), even though Nintendo doesn't like it. Just don't distribute those backups. Then you are committing copyright infringement if you do.

Image Category Reminder[edit]
Hello, MarioKartDoubleDash. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Your recent uploads for Mario Kart 8 and Mario Party 10 were missing categories that were added for you. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 00:07, 1 October 2016 (EDT)
Forum account at the Super Mario Boards...?[edit]
Hey, I was just rechecking to see if you have a forum account at the Super Mario Boards; there's something that I would like to ask you regarding the images you added to this wiki related to the Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour installment (via PM because it's a question I can't post here on your talk page). Let me know soon; thanks in advance. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 05:11, 9 January 2017 (EST)
PNG Replacements of Art[edit]
No need to keep both the JPEG and PNG of images. Just tag the JPEG for deletion. Also some of those replacements were PNG to start. Just upload a new version of that file instead of creating a new file page. Makes everything easier. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 00:40, 22 January 2017 (EST)
Waluigi Brawl Art[edit]
The artwork you uploaded of Waluigi from Super Smash Bros. Brawl is missing his tennis racket, unlike the JPG artwork we already have of him. You mind uploading a new version of the image with the tennis racket in his hand? 13:18, 5 February 2017 (EST)
- Actually, policy banned JPEG to PNG conversion. That recently passed. Just be sure to read the details and comments. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:29, 5 February 2017 (EST)
Stub article[edit]
The Emerald Woods page you made was deleted. When creating a new page, add in as much details and efforts, rather making it rush. --L151 18:43, 29 March 2017 (EDT)
Transparency Uploads[edit]
A few months ago, a proposal passed about converting JPEGs to PNG and a related proposal from 2011 about fan transparencies. Although I don't think that is what you did with File:Peach Rio2016.png to apply transparency to it to upload an older version of File:PeachSwimsuitRio2016.png, because the JPEG is of lower quality for File:Peach Rio2016.png (which was uploaded before my proposal about prohibiting conversion between JPEG, PNG and GIF formats), but there is a source that can do one better, and that is PidgiWiki. Here's where I found my upload that replaced yours: [1] There was some noticeable JPEG in your recent upload, so that's why I looked into PidgiWiki. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:51, 7 August 2017 (EDT)
Sanae Uchida[edit]
Hello, i would like to know where you found the source to confirmed that Sanae Uchida voiced Spike?
- And do you know if Sanae Suzaki and Sanae Uchida are different person and not just her maiden name? Even though you added Suzaki on Sports Superstar's credits, that name isn't on the list in-game, neither in Mario Party 10 or Star Rush.
I would like a "reply" to resolve the situation, when you get the chance. L151
Moles[edit]
For future reference, moles, rabbits, hedgehogs, bats, pikas, tenrecs, hares, shrews, and the like are not rodents. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:31, 13 September 2017 (EDT)
Mario Odyssey Renders[edit]
He's literally taking them off of the Model's Resource, he can only do it as fast as they do it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:35, 29 April 2018 (EDT)
Super Mario Odyssey Renders[edit]
Ok, I will try with Tiara, the Bonnetoners, Maw-Ray and Klepto. Peach and Luigi are very difficult for me to render. --MatiasNTRM (talk) 15:20, 29 April 2018 (EDT)
Cheep Cheeps in Double Dash?[edit]
Hi, so about this Cheep Cheep model you uploaded from Double Dash!! Do Cheep Cheeps even appear in that game? I can't remember, and double-checking the Cheep Cheep page, it doesn't mention Double Dash!! so it's possible this could even be an unused model? MarioComix (talk) 01:09, 20 August 2018 (EDT)
- Hope this answers the question. 01:21, 20 August 2018 (EDT)
- Ah right. Totally forgot about that easter egg! Thanks for the information. MarioComix (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2018 (EDT)
[edit]
Hello, I noticed that you uploaded this image of Rosalina (specifically the model of her) in relation to Super Mario Party, but you originally stated that it seemed that it was the same model made for Mario Party 10. Any evidence of this that you can let me (or others) know about to back up that claim? Reply back soon; thanks in advance. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 11:18, 17 October 2018 (EDT)
Models in gallery[edit]
Please, please, please do not put t-posed data renders of models in sections marked "in-game models," as they are not in-game. Move them to their own "data-rendered models" section. I really want to avoid conflating the different graphic types. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:23, 5 December 2018 (EST)
- Thank you :) Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:40, 5 December 2018 (EST)
Model aboutfile box[edit]
You really should credit The Models Resource (and the ripper) in the aboutfile box when uploading direct preview renders from them, it's only fair. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:09, December 10, 2019 (EST)
Audio files[edit]
Hey, just to let you know in case you upload more in the future, audio files should be uploaded as OGA, not as WAV, MP3 etc. (refer to Help:Media), so it should be converted first. Mario JC 21:42, July 14, 2020 (EDT)

Regarding the voice of Charles Martinet as Dry Bones[edit]
I noticed that in 2020, you added that Charles Martinet voices Dry Bones, shared with Toru Asakawa. Where did this information originate? What I'ma assuming is that this is another case of his voice being reused for an enemy character like all the ones in Super Mario 64, but I'm not too positive on the matter. Any good leads on this subject? --UM3000
Ah, I see! After hearing those voice clips, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the information!--UM3000
