What's the evidence that the Shady Koopa was supposed to be King K in the end of the game? -- Son of Suns (talk)

Because he talks like King K and Mario never befriended a Shady Koopa in the game. SJ derp :P
Well the article says the two are similar in personality, and Mario did befriend Shellshock as a fellow fighter. Shellshock was even comfortable enough with eating Mario's cake. I guess it might help if we had some sort of dialogue analysis on the talk page to compare Shellshock's style of talking with King K's style, then comparing that analysis to this specific Koopa at the end of the game. -- Son of Suns (talk)

I'm pretty sure Nintendo said that it was King K somewhere so I well look it up.--Luigibros2 16:20, 8 January 2009 (EST)

“We're sendin' you all our strength, G-Man! You feelin' the love, my man? GONZALES!!!”
Shady Koopa, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

"G-Man", as well as "Double-G Dog" are nicknames that are exclusively used by King K, as far as I recall. King K even sends Mario an E-Mail which indicates that they have some kind of friendship. Therefore it is likely that the Shady Koopa at the end of the game is indeed supposed to be King K. - Gabumon from the Digimon franchise Gabumon(talk) 14:02, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

You're right. I never noted that but it seem to be true. We can change that speculation to fact. I highly doubt Shady Koopa would speak in that dialogue.--Knife (talk) 14:18, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

Y'know, he actually called Mario "Mario" instead of "Great Gonzales" in his quote. Should that be noted? - Jyoshi sprite.pngJ-Yoshi64Blue Yoshi 20:55, 17 May 2011 (EDT)
