The Swooper (known as the Swoop in the British English version of Mario Kart 7) is a glider in the Mario Kart series. As its name states, the Swooper is shaped like the Swoop enemy (which was formerly called the Swooper).

History[edit]

Mario Kart 7[edit]

The Swooper first appears in Mario Kart 7 as an unlockable glider part. Like the Paraglider, Peach Parasol and Flower Glider, it offers an acceleration boost, while hindering weight, but like all the other gliders, it allows karts to go airborne for a brief time period.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

The Swooper returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it is classified as a High-End glider. Hitting other racers with Bob-ombs grants more points when using this glider.

The Ice Tour introduced a gold variant of the glider, simply named the Gold Swooper, which is also classified as a High-End glider.
