Seth Aaron Rogen (born April 15, 1982) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, and filmmaker, known for his directorial work on This Is the End and The Interview, and for starring in movies including the Kung Fu Panda franchise (alongside Jack Black), Horton Hears a Who!, The Green Hornet, Sausage Party, and the 2019 remake of The Lion King.
During the September 2021 Nintendo Direct, Rogen was revealed to be voicing Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.[1] In March 2023, Rogen appeared on a social media post by the official The Super Mario Bros. Movie account reacting to the DK Rap, citing it as "objectively one of the worst rap songs of all time", and rating it "ten out of ten bananas";[2] he revealed that the song is Donkey Kong's introduction theme in the film, and despite his criticisms, he concluded, "An iconic song, an iconic dance, an iconic crew, an iconic moment in time.".
