Cooligan Fields, or Frosted Glacier-2, is the second course of Frosted Glacier in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is opened via completion of Spinning-Star Sky, and its completion unlocks a Cooligan enemy course and Freezing-Rain Tower.

Layout[edit]

The level begins with a section with icy ground. A ? Block containing a power-up is found, along with a Cooligan. More Cooligans are found along with a Coin Block. A structure of Brick Blocks is found, as well as a ? Block and more Cooligans. A snowy section of the ground with Cooligans follows, along with another icy section with a Warp Pipe that spawns Cooligans. Multiple long groups of Cooligans are found as the player progresses. Another Warp Pipe that spawns Cooligans and a Hidden Block with a 1-Up Mushroom are found with the Checkpoint Flag. Another Warp Pipe spawning Cooligans is found, along with a Red Ring and another Hidden Block with a 1-Up Mushroom. Large blocks of ice act as platforms above a pit, followed by more Warp Pipes that spawn Cooligans. Brick Blocks, ? Blocks, and coins are found in between two Warp Pipes, and are located near more Cooligans and ice platforms. Ice platforms that move up and down are found above a pit. A section with twelve Cooligans in a row is found, leading to the Goal Pole.

Star Coins[edit]

A Star Coin from Cooligan Fields The second Star Coin is found between two green Warp Pipes, in a set of coins. The player must first break the Brick Blocks barricading the area in order to reach it.
A Star Coin from Cooligan Fields The third Star Coin is found above a Brick Block after a series of coins. The player can reach the platforms by bouncing off of a Cooligan or using a flight powerup such as a Super Acorn.

Monopoly Gamer[edit]

Cooligan Fields is the eighth Property on the game board in Monopoly Gamer. It is one of two properties in the Orange Color Set (along with Frosted Glacier).
