Boris is a KGB agent appearing in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Glasnuts." His name may be a reference to Boris Yeltsin, who would become the first president of Russia.

Boris first appears in the episode after Mario and Luigi's phone call with the President of the United States, where Mario, upon opening the door, is shocked to see him, believing that he would instead see Rowley, who had previously prank-called them. He introduces himself before sending in Mikhail S. Gorbachev, who mentions that his spies had informed him that the Mario Bros. make the best pizza in Brooklyn and that he wants to learn their recipe.

Boris later appears when Gorbachev, after informing the Mario Bros. that he does not have much time, opens his briefcase so that he can add his own ingredients to Mama Mario's special recipe. He is last seen leaving with Gorbachev, who, impressed by Mario and Luigi's pizza, plans to open his own pizzeria in Russia.
