Mark Kendall is a 2014-2015 Guggenheim Fellow in Film/Video who was named by Variety in 2012 as "a name to watch."

His work has been screened and exhibited worldwide at venues including the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the Gene Siskel Film Center, Anthology Film Archives, the Wexner Center for the Arts, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and at film festivals such as SXSW, SANFIC, Los Angeles, Guadalajara, and Havana.

His first film, La Camioneta, was a New York Times Critics' Pick, one of IndieWire's "Top Docs of 2013", and one of Fandor's "Best Political Films of 2013."

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
