Rated 2 out of 5 by huge name lady from Careful with monogramming Looking at the monogram sample I assumed it would be around a 12pt font. I added my last name in case I lost my bag. When it came in, my name is huge, takes up the top half of the bag. It looks tacky and I won't use it for privacy reasons. Technically my mistake, so just don't do the same thing as me! It's huge!

On the way home, I put my purse in it and used it as my "personal item" along with extras purchased on the trip. It fit under the airline seat ahead of me perfectly. This bag is very well constructed and very spacious. The only thing LL Bean could do to make this excellent product even better would be a strap on one side to slip over an extended luggage handle. Regardless, I highly recommend this bag. The Medium is great too! Compliments on the colors, including the marine blue.

I have several of them in different styles and they are all useful. This model the medium is perfect for everyday carry items for car travel. I also have the large but it is more spacious and is more of an overnight or beach bag because it can fit a ton of stuff in. This one is just right for my EDC purposes and has a zipper enclosure to boot.
