Health and wellness are very important to our everyday life! So, who doesn’t love a wellness themed event? The Health Unit in Kuwait City, Kuwait hosted a wellness challenge event for the embassy community. The challenge was to encourage the community to be heathier, both mentally and physically, improve self-discipline, and support their health journey. It was a points-based challenge where self-tracker sheets were used to track progress. They did a a variety of events, including health seminars, CrossFit, Zumba classes, and mindful activities like coloring, sound bowls and even a drum circle. They selected a winner at the end of the challenge. A Locally Employed Staff (LE) member had the highest number of points and lost 3 pounds!
