How does #ArtificialIntelligence look when it is put into practice on the shop floor? 👇🏻👀 Data & AI expert Christian Jaremenko shares a practical use case in this video: Using cameras and AI combined with PLCs, this solution can detect and localize individuals, distinguishing them from other shop floor assets to take appropriate actions. For example, if a person comes too close, it triggers actions such as stopping a robot in the production line. Conversely, if an AGV approaches, the process continues uninterrupted. This ensures the shop floor remains safe for factory workers while maintaining continuous production. ✅ This is just one of many examples of how we at Siemens strive to make #AI accessible for the industry.
