Wow, 22 years with no maintenance and no problems is pretty good. Unfortunately, one of the “lessons” from this is the routine maintenance is not necessary for continued safe operation. NFPA 70E guidance on normal operating condition requires the the equipment be properly maintained. Increasing intervals between servicing violates this and NFPA 70B guidance while increasing the likelihood of a potentially catastrophic failure. #maintenance #operation #safety #nfpa70b #nfpa70e #standards
No maintenance in 22 years, this is what you find. Fortunately, the breaker atill works fine, bottles tested good, pt's and cpt tested good.
