We are pleased to share a case study, outlining the benefits of buying recirculated products such as yaw drives and yaw motors, which are used as an example here. The same principle applies to many of the refurbished products we sell - main breakers, pumps, calipers, cylinders, pitch drives, anemometers, boards and most motor types. In any case, we look to commit to holding stock according to the customer's annual consumption, helping the customer to reduce stock holding at site without the risk of turbine downtime. ♻

Does this grind your gears? A GE pitch drive in the workshop this week which has seen better days! Believe it or not, this drive unit has not necessarily been condemned to the scrap yard in the sky just yet. We do everything we can to offer refurbishment and remanufacture solutions the make parts recirculation possible, even in the case of severe failure. The worst case for this drive will be reduction to parts, so there will be absolutely minimum waste. Happy Friday, after all! ♻

Some time well spent this week creating bespoke reusable packaging for yaw motors. In this particular case the site had 3 very slightly different motors, so we had to have a means of securing all 3 variations within the pallets with ease, allowing the site technicians to simply fit the refurbished motors in the turbine and drop the defective ones back on the pallet and bolt down to safely return. These 20 were delivered this week from stock in Texas. ♻
