What a difference a week makes! The team put some time aside this week to clear the workshop and paint the production floor (matching the color scheme of our Innovation Centre back in the UK!) The guys treated the floor then coated in 2-part paint, giving a great finish. After all, the floor is the best indicator of how a manufacturing business operates. Clean = organised = safe Now to get back to the day to day business of recirculating wind turbine component parts at scale for our customers! ♻️

Did you know that we co-founded the Coalition for Wind Industry Circularity (CWIC) with SSE Renewables, University of Strathclyde and the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland. Our goal? Push for full supply chain circularity by 2030 to meet net zero ambitions and supporting energy security. The benefits? This could generate more than 20,000 full time equivalent jobs and prevent more than 800,000 tonnes of parts from being scrapped. Follow us to keep up to date with our mission for circularity in the wind industry. #windcircularity #renewableenergy #windenergy #reuse #refurbish

✋ Hands up if you have a skip that looks like this at your wind farm site! As a global specialist in refurbishment and remanufacture solutions we can help get you on the road to reuse - it really isn't as complex as it might seem, and if you think you have to compromise quality for cost saving you might be in for a surprise... ♻️

Scaling up product recirculation! There are many challenges when it comes to recirculating component parts at scale and it all starts with the reverse logistics. Our team know that identifying and labelling the parts correctly is a critical step in the process. After all, you could have the best refurbishment techniques in the world, but it's all for nothing if the part has been wrongly identified in the first place! Over the last decade we have come to understand the products - which ones have batch numbers instead of serial numbers, which ones have been superseded, which part numbers represent design changes and what those design changes actually are. This all helps us on the path to offering refurbished and remanufactured products at scale, knowing what we offer is a direct replacement to what you would receive if you order a new one. Get in touch to know more about recirculated product at set prices, regardless of the condition of return cores. We can assist with your reverse logistics and we can help you manage your inventory at site to eliminate turbine downtime. ♻️

Safety First! With our recruitment underway for our Texas workshop we need to ensure we follow in the footsteps of our UK parent company to create a clean, safe working environment for our incoming workshop technicians. Safety is the absolute priority in the workshop, and so clear signage and defined safety policy and practices are essential to make sure everyone working in our shop can feel safe at work. ♻️

A refurbished 24v DC Control unit out the door yesterday to a customer in Texas. There are many reasons to buy refurbished components: Cost saving Lead time reduction Waste saving Better understanding failures by gathering data ...but in this case the driver was obsolescence - This component is no longer available new, and so buying recirculated product is the only way to avoid major modifications in the field. Happy weekend all! ♻️
