ReNew2030 leverages a variety of strategies to drive meaningful action. Powered by philanthropy, we work alongside our partners to advance a systemic approach to long term transformation of the power sector. It's been a year since our Executive Director Rebecca Collyer and the Director of our partner Tara Climate Foundation, Kala Constantino, were a part of the TED Countdown Summit. The event brought together 700 participants to share game changing innovations and bold actions that move us closer to a net-zero world. You can watch Rebecca's inspiring TEDx talk on how to supercharge renewables and energise the world. For the first time ever wind and solar energy exceeded fossil fuel generation in the EU, marking a significant shift in the power sector. However, this progress is still not fast enough to secure a 1.5C future and more work is needed to overcome some of the barriers to implementation.
