Last night, our Frankfurt WINRS, several female partners from other EU offices, and clients visited the Städel Museum to tour its current exhibition “Women Artists between Frankfurt and Paris around 1900” and then enjoyed dinner together. The exhibit presents around 80 paintings and sculptures by 26 women artists and showcases how the artists built international networks to support one another. During her remarks at the event, Frankfurt Partner Nina Siewert highlighted the enduring importance of making connections, especially for women, which beautifully tied into the theme of the exhibition. She supported this point with compelling statistics on gender representation in German-listed companies. Notably, per the 2024 Allbright Report, there are currently more CEOs named Christian (10) than there are women (7) among the leaders of the 160 largest listed companies.
