Chaos Labs had the incredible opportunity to participate in two industry flagship events this month: TOKEN2049 and Solana Foundation Breakpoint in Singapore, where we engaged with the brightest minds shaping the future of Web3. During these events, we proudly launched #Edge, our next-generation oracle designed to redefine real-time data accuracy and resilience for decentralized systems. Edge represents a leap forward in securing and scaling DeFi by providing more reliable, secure, and scalable data feeds that will power the next generation of onchain finance. We also announced key partnerships that underscore the power of Edge: • Jupiter: Leveraging the Edge Price Oracle to optimize trading efficiency on their perpetuals exchange. • Wintermute: Utilizing Edge Proofs to access high-quality U.S. Presidential election data to settle their prediction market, bringing more transparency and precision to the space. • PayPal Ventures: Strengthening their conviction in Chaos Labs by making an additional investment, a significant step in expanding the reach and impact of digital currencies. Edge has now secured more than $40B in volume over the last 3 months, immediately becoming a category leader for data infrastructure. Our team also connected with the community including partners from AAVE, RWA.xyz, Agora, Samsung Ventures, and ether.fi at Stable Summit, Perps Nite, and our Inaugural Community Dinner, discussing everything from DeFi scalability to the future of digital payments. During this September 2024 US West Coast Trade Mission, Irish Minister for Trade, Enterprise and Employment Peter Burke met with a number of thought leaders and decision makers in the venture capital and private equity community. The group gathered at Ireland House San Francisco to share insights and foster dialogue to ensure that Irish companies have what they need to succeed today and into the future.   As venture capital funds look beyond borders for new transactions, it is crucial that Ireland positions itself to attract venture capital from the most experienced investment firms. Non-Irish Investors now account for a significant proportion of Enterprise Ireland client companies' funding and we are continuing to strengthen relationships between the global investment community and Enterprise Ireland to further support this trend. Leo Clancy, CEO of Enterprise Ireland, recently announced a new Seed and Ventures Capital Scheme of €250M over 5 years, this will continue Enterprise Ireland's proactive investment strategy as the largest European investor in early stage companies by deal count and a Top 3 global investor. As lzCatalyst launch partners, a16z Crypto, Animoca Brands, Atrum, Delphi Ventures, Faction, Franklin Templeton, King River, Lightspeed, PayPal Ventures, and Spartan have the option to invest up to $300M to support the development of novel omnichain applications built on LayerZero. The lzCatalyst initiative is designed to empower developers with access to significant capital and resources. Participating funds are incentivized to directly invest up to $300 million into projects integrating LayerZero, but will independently maintain their respective diligence and investment processes.
