The 13th ANS Nuclear Plant Instrumentation, Control & Human-Machine Interface Technologies (NPIC&HMIT) conference, returned to Knoxville TN to #celebrate 🎉 30 years and successfully concluded on June 20, 2023. As the Technical Program and Publication Chair, I would like to thank all the #attendees, #sponsors, and #organizers. Special thanks to Jamie Coble (General Chair), Joseph Naser, Richard Wood (Honorary General Chair) , Dan Cole, Lou Martinez Sancho, MSc, MBB, Ronald Boring, Jonghyun Kim (Track leads), Nancy Lybeck, Xingang Zhao (Student Paper Competition leads), Chad Kiger, Ph.D, PE, Ted Quinn, and David Desaulniers (workshop organizers), Janet Davis, Paula Cappelletti, CMP, and Eileen Cullen (ANS Staff). The NPIC&HMIT 2023, colocated with the 18th PSA conference, organized Best Student Paper Competitions and Lighting Talk Student Competition. Congratulations to all the students who participated. An opportunity to interact with long-term friends, colleagues, experts, and new friends. I would also like to thank Askin Guler Yigitoglu and Mike Muhlheim. Kudos to Askin Guler Yigitoglu for her efforts in leading a successful 18th PSA conference. We have already started planning 2025 NPIC&HMIT in #Chicago .
