    🔴 This is the biggest marketing change over the last few years that no one is teaching business owners. Have you noticed that it is harder than ever to get people click OFF LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc to visit your website, read your blog post, listen to your podcast or watch your video? This is not a coincidence. Social media platforms prioritize NATIVE content (content that can be read/watched/consumed ON their platform without ever having to leave). And it's not just social media. Way back in 2020, two different studies both found that more than 2/3 of Google searches ended without a click. This has only increased since then with AI. Try it yourself. Google a question like: ➡️ "How old do you have to be to get social security?" or ➡️ "whats the highest the stock market has ever been?" You'll see that Google will answer your question right in the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) so that you don't have to click any website to get an answer. So… what are we supposed to do when all these platforms reward Zero-Click behavior? Make Zero-Click content. Content that offers STAND ALONE value, no click needed. The best way to do this: repurpose long-form content into: 👉 Twitter threads 👉 2 minute Videos 👉 LinkedIn posts that give the MEAT of the message IN the post 👉Email newsletters that share lessons IN the body GIVE away the value right up front, without the person needing to click. (If you utilize FMG 's social posts you'll notice we switched to this long ago) We are all busy - we want to know up-front whether or not content is worth our time. Once we get the gist of it, THEN we will decide if we want to dive into reading a 1800 word blog post or watching a full webinar or listening to a 30 minute podcast. So- share the 5 (or 3 or 10!) biggest take-aways from your content WHEN you promote it - don't bait people with it to get clicks. You will earn even more trust with your audience and, intuitively, it will become even more likely that your audience will eventually WANT to consume your long-form content off-platform. #marketingtrends #wealthmanagement #financialplanning Susan Theder
