The Mission family is filled with pride that U.S. News & World Report once again recognized our commitment to exceptional care and ranked us as one of the top hospitals in the LA/OC region for 2024/25. Along with our top hospital ranking, U.S. News also honored 18 of our clinical programs as high performing, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, digestive health, geriatrics, stroke, pulmonary, COPD, nephrology, cancer care and seven surgical specialties. We are humbled by these designations and so grateful that our incredible caregivers and physicians have chosen to share their immense talent and knowledge with our community.

Our third annual free #helmet giveaway was a huge success! More than 330 families joined us at The Shops at Mission Viejo, allowing us to provide 359 children with a free multi-sport style Mission Hospital helmet. Since our trauma team launched the free helmet program in December 2021, we have given more than 3,200 helmets to children across South Orange County. The #Missionfamily thanks our trauma team, who tirelessly presented this event and dozens of others throughout the year. We’re also incredibly grateful for our #donors, whose generosity funds 100% of this effort to keep our kids safe! #HelmetSafety #BikeSafety #TraumaPrevention #InjuryPrevention

Scott didn’t have any symptoms of #lungcancer, but when his primary care physician insisted that he have a #lungscreening, he contacted the Leonard Cancer Institute at Providence Mission Hospital and asked if he was eligible for screening. His results showed very early-stage and treatable #lung cancer. "I want to share how easy it can be to save a life!" Scott says of the importance of screening. "One simple test is all it takes." Meet Providence Mission Hospital's highly skilled surgeons, physicians and thoracic patient navigator by visiting the Intuitive All-Mobile Demo Trailer TODAY until 2:30 p.m. at the Irvine Marriott (18000 Von Karman Avenue). Learn about our comprehensive lung cancer program and try your skills with a hands-on demo of the newest robotic systems. If you have any questions, please call 844-943-1060.
