Founder & Co-Owner | Having fun at Tech Observer Asia Pacific | 和Tech Observer 的同仁们在欢愉的气氛中为客户创造最大的价值!
It's not often that we have so many people in the office as Tech Observer Asia Pacific practices flexi-workplace. Our flexi-workplace policy allows our team to work in the office or remotely. 🙂 So, we took the opportunity to take a group shot when our multi-national & diverse team of clinical project managers, medical communications professionals, and our interns turned up to work in the office today! ✌️

Recently, our Writer's Club session delved into scales in biomedical research. Organized by Gracemary Yap, Writer’s Club is part of Tech Observer’s ongoing capacity building sessions. Inspired from our lessons from recent projects involving abstract concepts such as “health” or “wellness”, the session deepened our understanding of social scientific scales and honed our skills in critical evaluation. Our team left the session with a deeper appreciation of how social, psychological, cultural dimensions enrich biomedicine. Two things to celebrate! This session was our liveliest yet, with colleagues and consultants joining virtually from all across Asia. A special shout-out to Renee Chuah, our Medical Communications intern, who gamely took on the challenge and did such a great job designing & leading the session. #capacitybuilding #biomedicalresearch #medicalcommunications

Congratulations to the authors and the Merz Aesthetics team on their recent successful publication: Addressing the Real-World Challenges of Immunoresistance to Botulinum Neurotoxin A (BoNT-A) in Aesthetic Practice: Insights and Recommendations from a Panel Discussion in Hong Kong. The paper discusses strategies to mitigate the risk of immunoresistance to BoNT-A in everyday Aesthetic practice: The panel strongly favoured a thorough initial consultation to establish the patient’s treatment history, explain treatment side effects including immunoresistance, and to discuss treatment goals. Where efficacy and safety are comparable, a formulation with the lowest immunogenicity is also preferred. Tech Observer is grateful to have been a part of this project – and in providing medical writing to help bring further awareness of practical risk management strategies for immunoresistance. #medicalcommunications #publication #merzaesthetics
