Yesterday, The Venel Institute at LVHN and DeSales University hosted “A Day with a PA Summer Program” for 27 high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are aspiring physician assistants. Students had a dissection experience led by Scott Sexton and suturing sessions led by Adeena Woodard, PA-C and Hannah Supplee, both DeSales alumni and current Lehigh Valley Health Network PAs. They also learned about the PA career from a panelist discussion and hands-on opportunities at the DeSales University simulation center. What a great day of learning!
