The WLI Women in Hardware Mentorship (WHM) program provides women the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build a strong support network. Today, we are thrilled to introduce one of our outstanding mentees. Meet mentee Larisa Troyegubova, Senior Manager at Microchip Technology Inc. , shares her thoughts below. "Participating in the WHM program has been an invaluable experience for me. A kickoff event in January brought together passionate women leaders who are willing to learn and grow in a male-dominated industry. I was truly inspired by the team of Mentors who shared their career paths and challenges with us. Since then, I have been meeting with my Mentor and the Fireside Chat group to discuss essential topics like leadership profiles, motivating teams, executive communication, and more through the unique lenses of a female leader. Sharing our experiences, learning from one another, and building each other up are all part of our growth as Women Leaders in Hardware industry." Today for our 2024 Visibility Series, we are excited to highlight Deepali Trehan, Head of Product Management and Marketing at Altera, an Intel Corporation company. In her role, Deepali leads the product line management, ecosystem strategy and the overall go-to-market for Altera’s entire portfolio, spanning FPGAs, AI, software, development tools, intellectual property, and hardware acceleration platforms. Previously, Deepali served as a Global Director of technical applications, marketing and communications for secure interface and power business at NXP semiconductors. She started her career over 19 years ago at Texas Instruments where she held various leadership roles. Her love for math and science as a young girl with a passion to solve problems led her to choose a career in engineering. The Women in Hardware Mentorship (WHM) program helps leaders grow at all levels! Mentor Yan Li, Vice President, Engineering, Memory Technology at Western Digital, shares her thoughts below. "As a mentor, I really enjoyed the experience sharing with this group of mentees who has many years of experience as middle level managers. A lot of challenges we faced are very common. "Women in Hardware Mentorship (WHM) is an initiative started in 2023 founded by Antonella Oliva and other senior women leaders in the semiconductor industry.
