Environments where cable systems operate are becoming more and more challenging. Whether for cleanroom, oil exploration, aircraft or even spacecraft, exposure to chemicals, extreme temperature and operational strain means cable systems need to be designed and tested to verify that the cable will fit for the intended application. Once you have identified the operating and environmental constraints that may impact cable performance, Step Two is to design the cable system. This process involves selecting the right materials for cable construction and design validation testing. It is critical to select a manufacturer that understands the challenges of your industry and your application. We are thrilled to introduce Tamim Parwani, Application Engineer from Gore's dynamic Lithography cable team. Tamim specializes in our Lithography bulk cables—some of the bulk cables are considered the most complex cables for the most complex lithography systems in the world. In his newly added role as Product Specialist, Tamim oversees the Automation Cables product line, which involves developing solutions for robotics, autonomous vehicles, Formula 1, and specialized applications such as nuclear plants, cranes, trains, and inspection & sensor technology.
