Another great example of how #EVerest, the #openSource #firmware stack for #EVcharging can be used for innovative applications: vision-enabled #smartcharging to privately operated charging stations. FRAMOS built an awesome demo to showcase that convenient, functionally safe, and hassle-free charging of electric vehicles is possible using automatic license plate recognition. The #ParkandCharge use case is powered by #PIONIX BelayBox and LF Energy EVerest Project. The EVerest Project community is starting a new working group: #Energy #Management. With more and more people & organizations contributing to the energy management part of #EVerest, for example local energy management protocols like #EEBus and #OpenADR, there is now the need to align. We are kicking-off this new working group so we can brainstorm, align work, discuss architecture, pull requests, open issues etc. related to Energy Management and protocols that connect an EVerest based #charging station to any (#EMS) Energy Mangement Systems. Are you working on topics like: #SmartCharging, #V2G, #EEBus, #OpenADR or maybe already #Matter, join this new working group. We are kicking-off the new working group on the 17th of September 2024 17:00 CEST - 15:00 UTC.
