💡Public Stakeholders’ Forum afternoon session started with the topic of enabling cross-border access to clinical trials moderated by Sabine Klager, PhD. Bettina Ryll introduced the PCM4EU - Personalised Cancer Medicine for all EU citizens and PRIME-ROSE initiatives for #cancerprecision medicine. Joanna Sprague joined us online and shared a cross-border trial case study for a #raredisease and learnings from the case. 📢Bettina Ryll led a very dynamic and interactive discussion about a pragmatic and progressive approach to cross-border trials with the following panelists Begoña Nafría Escalera Elmar Nimmesgern Jacques Demotes Mainard Marianne Lunzer Monique Al Susan Bhatti. This is especially important for patients with rare diseases or cancers. For them the participation in a clinical trial might be the only remaining treatment option but often there is no trial centre in their country.
