We are excited to announce that the County of San Mateo Jobs For Youth Summer Internship program will return this summer! -Requirements: San Mateo County resident, JFY Member*, 18 to 21 years old -Duration: June through August (approximately 8-10 weeks) -Hours: Flexible -Location: Positions are available in several Departments and may include placements in Belmont, Daly City, East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, and South San Francisco. The County of San Mateo Jobs for Youth program is deeply saddened by the passing of former Board of Supervisor President, Don Horsley. Supervisor Horsley had worked closely with our founder, Al Teglia, and was a big supporter of our program. Supervisor Horsley served as JFY's Honorary Chair in 2017 and most recently at our 40th Anniversary Celebration in 2022. We are extremely grateful for Supervisor Horsley's leadership, and support of our San Mateo County community and youth.
