We had a great first offsite Texas Physician Advisory Board panel discussion in Tyler last week! Thank you to everyone who attended. It was great to have a dialogue with some of our network physicians and generate insights on many important topics, including the impact of consolidation on health care costs, value-based care, prior authorization, the physicians' experience on TPAC, and more! The event was moderated by VP of Texas Plan Operations, Patty Escoe, MBA, MHP and the BCBSTX panel featured President James Springfield, DSVP of Health Care Delivery Trip Pilgrim, and Chief Medical Officer Mark Chassay, MD MEd MBA. The TPAC panelists were Dr. Joe Cunningham, Dr. Doug Curran, and Dr. Rick Snyder. Thanks to our sponsors Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital, CHRISTUS Health, Smith County Medical Society, and UT Health East Texas.

We enjoyed the opportunity to support children’s literacy through Chapter One US (formerly Innovations for Learning). This one-on-one approach helped elevate local elementary school students’ reading levels for the 2023-2024 school year. 8 of our employees volunteered roughly 17 hours over the course of 68 sessions!

YOUR HARVEST HOUSE was the recipient of the canned food donations. Thank you to everyone who volunteered. 🎉
