HBCUs provide critical pathways to and through college for Black student parents. Next week, I will join Carol Alexander-Lewis of Grambling State University, Micheline Lambert of Jarvis Christian University, Breona M. Hayes, Ph.D. of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Toya Teamer of Teamer Strategy Group to present at the 2024 UNCF UNITE Summit for #BlackHigherEducation. I’m excited to discuss Ascend at the Aspen Institute's Black and Native Family Futures Fund, designed to increase student parent access and success across college campuses, particularly at HBCUs and TCUs. We will explore how the Fund has helped our college and university partners leverage strategies to support student parents, including active leadership, cross-campus collaboration and data-driven decision-making. #UNITE2024 https://lnkd.in/gJ7j8kFA
