What could you do with $50,000? 🌱 AHW is offering Seed Grants up to $50,000 for projects that create new strategies, test innovative ideas 💡, and foster collaboration 🤝 to address health challenges in Wisconsin. Funding is available for Wisconsin-based community-led partnerships with Medical College of Wisconsin researchers and MCW-led projects, including research conducted by MCW post-doctoral researchers. 🌟 July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month 🌟 In 2020, fewer than half of African American adults received mental health 🧠 care. In 2018, Asian Americans were 60% less likely to seek treatment than non-Hispanic Whites. Barriers include lack of insurance, limited access to care, and stigma. AHW is proud to fund projects that support increasing and improving mental healthcare for all communities across our state.
