ZEISS Visionaries 2024

It has been a few weeks since ZEISS Visionaries 2024, hosted at Battersea Evolution in London, and what a day it was! With over 300 of our dedicated ZEISS partner opticians joining us in London for an action-packed day, ZEISS Visionaries proved to be exciting from start to finish. From showcasing our latest ZEISS technology and innovations, to exploring our wide range of ZEISS vision solutions, it was a great opportunity for us to help our ZEISS partner opticians realise their business ambitions.

We opened the day by introducing our General Manager, Andrew Leong-Son to the stage. Andrew welcomed our guests to ZEISS Vision UK’s largest event yet and began with a presentation centred on the history of ZEISS. Owned by a foundation committed to ethical and responsible innovation, we have a proud history of producing award winning optical solutions and technologies that continue to lead and shape the market. ZEISS are proud to work with independent partners to champion their businesses and enable them to realise their ambitions.

After some more introductions from our ZEISS global colleagues, including our Chief Marketing Officer, we opened the doors to the ZEISS YOUniverse. This was our guest’s opportunity to meet various members of the ZEISS Vision UK team, watch demonstrations, try out our suite of ZEISS Vision Technology Solution equipment and discuss business and marketing goals with our on-hand experts. It was a pleasure to see so many of our independent partners engaged with discussions and demonstrations across the various ZEISS stations. For our ZEISS team members, this was a fantastic opportunity to engage with both new and familiar faces and strengthen our understanding about how we can accelerate our partners’ business ambitions.

Returning to the plenary, our guests were greeted by the futurist panel who engaged in a deep-dive discussion into the world of retail and the optical industry. A panel which consisted of three futuristic technology experts, John Straw, Jack Stratten and Kate Hardcastle, this was a chance for guests to ask questions and discuss topics on how the optical industry and the role of the optometrist is likely to advance in the near future. A thought-provoking, yet exciting end to ZEISS Visionaries 2024!
