What's In Our Smart Hybrid Technology
After all the hassle, failures, downfalls & economic crunches, we have developed a fully working prototype based on Honda Activa. We are have been granted patents on our powertrain and Smart Systems integrated with our vehicle, also many patents still on the pending list.
We have developed a proof of concept (POC), fitted with our Smart Hybrid Technology and after clocking 3000KMS of testing, our powertrain holds up very well even in bad road conditions. This POC of ours provides a range of 40KM @ 40KMPH when ridden on Electric Mode. Also, you get a combined range (E.V Petrol) of 100KM off course depending on the condition of your petrol engine.
There are three major parts that go into our vehicle as mentioned below,
· Hybrid Throttle
· Battery Boot
· E.V Powertrain
Hybrid Throttle- Developed by our R&D Team it is an amalgamation of conventional petrol vehicle throttle and Electric Vehicle throttle to provide smooth operation of both in different driving modes.
Battery Boot- This battery boot accommodates our specially designed battery pack, Battery Charge Indicator, Mode Switch & Our Smart Hybrid Control Unit (SHCU). This battery boot is attached to the front of the vehicle and is a stock part provided by OEM itself, hence gets factory-made fitments. Placed in front of the vehicle, it makes the boot under the seat still available for storage.
Mode switch operated by our SCHU provides the user to switch between three modes Electric Mode/ Hybrid Mode/ I.C Mode. Empowering user to use it according to convenience.
Battery Charge Indicator is a simple TFT display that can be is clearly visible under direct sunlight and is secured from Rain & Dust.
E.V Powertrain- We have developed our own powertrain that fits the rear wheel, delivering power through a belt drive system reducing the maintenance, noise & whole hassle of lubrication. All this is fitted with the help of just two bolts without disturbing any stock parts. As it is fitted with just two bolts it’s very easy to remove and install, so suppose you change your vehicle, no issues you can remove this Powertrain and fit it to your new vehicle in minutes.
Part of this Powertrain is our Electric Motor, after days of 3D-Modelling, analysis & Fabrication we have found just the right position for our motor placement, providing a better centre of gravity, optimised handling and better weight distribution, unlike HUB Motors in Front or Rear wheels that can be catastrophic
Our Smart Hybrid Technology will cost around Rs24000/- and the whole system increases the weight of the vehicle by just 10%, compatible with scooter market leader such as Honda Activa/Suzuki Access / TVS Jupiter etc. It’s ready for deployment.
