Week 16

Monday 

I hosted an amazing event called "Advice to avoid self-disqualification" with speakers Graham Hillgren, Peter Kold, Mikkel Lindø, and Akilah Foote who gave their take on things people do that make them self-disqualify themselves in the hiring process. Some of my favorite advice was to take a shower before going, body odor can sometimes be unattractive 😝 Don't spend 15 mins on each question, because then you won't have time to go through a lot of them, so be short and concise. Recruiters love when you add them on Linkedin, so just do it ✅

Tuesday

I welcomed two new members to CPHUX; Daniel Chramčenko and Konstantinos Chaloulos 💜

Wednesday

| met with my career coach as a part of the 'Founder to Leader' program I'm on. It was very insightful and I learned that I'm afraid to give negative critique/feedback because I had bad experiences with managers giving me bad critique/feedback in the past.

Thursday

I had the pleasure to have individual meetings with my two part-time employees; Zdeněk Pašek and Giorgia Meton. The first part was work-related and the second part was a one-on-one where I caught up with them on a personal level.

Friday

I got to do a lot of work before heading home, packing my bags with my family, and flying to Mallorca for a week's vacation.

Saturday till Friday in week 17

We flew back and arrived late in the evening. It was a great vacation, but we were super slammed and needed to be ready for the next day.

Saturday

Today was my daughter's name-giving party. Friends and family had come to celebrate her and I felt really grateful to have so many people in my life who cares about this little human I've been a part of making. I'm so excited to see her grow and to be there for her through all the hardship that is an essential part of life.

Sunday

My mom stayed the night and we spend the day together.

Upcoming week

Monday I get to host two events, one of them is a 'Job seeker work session' with a focus on the job interview. In the evening I have the honor of welcoming Joachim Blicher in to facilitate a workshop on how to present your designs.

Tuesday my daughter is starting in daycare which is very exciting and I'm hoping it will go smoothly.
