We're proud to announce that globally recognised sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis has, for the second consecutive year, awarded Veritek with a Silver Medal for Sustainability Management.

The award places Veritek Global Ltd 'in the top 6% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment industry'.

Moreover, this recognition underscores Veritek Global's commitment to environmental responsibility and ethical business practices.

How EcoVadis assesses companies

EcoVadis rigorously assesses companies across various industries based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Through a comprehensive evaluation process, EcoVadis examines critical sustainability criteria, including environmental impact, labour practices, fair business practices, and sustainable procurement. Veritek Global's Silver Medal renewal demonstrates its dedication to upholding high standards in these areas.

Reusing and recycling packaging

Cutting down on packaging is a priority for Veritek's warehouse teams.

Although cardboard is a greener and more sustainable type of packaging, it doesn't make sense to put a cardboard box into a recycling bin because it just gets recycled into another cardboard box.

The most effective way to reduce cardboard waste is not to create it. For this reason, Veritek:

1. Diverts cardboard from recycling and stores it in a dedicated space
2. Takes cardboard boxes in good condition and resizes and reshapes them so the company can reuse them and keep them in constant use.
