Unlock finleap’s potential and extend the value chain

finleap is known as a “serial” company builder, having built over 16 companies to date. While our main focus was on developing companies in our ecosystem, we broadened our services a while ago and started to build companies closely with partners. As announced last week at Bitkom’s #digifin19 conference in Berlin: We are excited about our new collaboration with Engel & Völkers Capital, the investment and asset manager for real estate investments of the worldwide leading real estate specialist Engel & Völkers.

As much as we enjoy building successful companies such as solarisBank, infinitec solutions or Elinvar, we are now also partnering with companies in other industries to integrate fintech. Together with Engel & Völkers Capital we are enhancing their value chain by incorporating cutting-edge finance technology into their products.

Everyone of us interacts with the financial world on a daily basis. On average private households spend most of their monthly disposable income on the purchase of real estate or rent. Therefore, all financial touch points such as payments, mortgages, insurances, or the investment of capital after selling real estate play a fundamental role for consumers and businesses alike. All of these aspects are closely linked to the banking sector. Yet, there is still a lot of potential for traditional providers to collaborate with fintechs and innovate the way payments, lending or insuring are incorporated.

This is where contextual banking comes into play. Contextual banking means that banking processes are adapted to enable users to manage their finances in an efficient way. This contemporary approach first arose in the real estate business and later revolutionized the payment of rents or mortgages. As an example, clients can initiate payments, request mortgages and sign up for relevant insurance policies on the real estate platforms. Consequently, the integration of relevant financial products and services increases the user experience for customers, especially if a customized product is offered in the right moment.

The entrepreneurial spirit and clear vision of Engel & Völkers has successfully resulted in steady growth. While many companies are struggling with the digitization of their products and services, the global real estate specialist sees the benefit of extending their value chain with financial services. Most importantly, this step will broaden their core business and enhance their product offering.

The synergy between finleap and Engel & Völkers, is a stellar example of the high potential that collaborations between fintechs and players from other industries hold. Find out more about finleap’s portfolio companies here.

Engel & Völkers Capital should consider that the economic model  can make a change , especially  when you are not familiar with quantum level of the economy. It  exist  since  the economy started.Only we saw  one side of the medallion  the economy works with which leaded to a taxsystem, banks, fintech industry, healthcare.,pensionfunds, real estate based on debt As long the  world don"t accept the other side of the medallion that there are  the assets coming from  then  the economy has unbalance. The assets in the existing economic model  which were brought in by citizens ,entrepreneurs   at the bank  and there start the problem  . They choose to create debtmoney. Why doesnot the world work with the asset side of the medallion.?
