The Tied That Will Not Stop - Unless We Make It Stop!

Former Pence Staffer Spills the Beans and Endorses Biden. The person that arranged every Whitehouse CORONA-Virus meeting to evaluate the way forward for the American people, says "it (the Administration) was ludicrous, you must RUN!!!!, and I need you to know how bad it is."

I sit here feeling empty, a little lost, and terribly frustrated in a time of constitutional crisis. We need to eliminate who we are first, to understand what we are not. We are not this evil country of Trump. I am English, yet proud to be American. This America is not the America I know and love as a lifelong ally from across the pond.

Every day, it feels like waking up in the Twilight Zone. The dismantling of the USPS, shredding the credibility of our public health agencies, attacking our fantastic intelligence agencies, efforts to destroy the inconvenient parts of the US Constitution, and the complete and utter disregard for law and order. What on earth are we thinking? Who have we become, and who amongst us are truly proud of who we have become in the eyes of the world?

It reminds me of one of the smartest people I have ever known, and I have no doubt that we are going down the path of arrogance, and not the path of opportunity, humility and possibility:

What smart people do is surround themselves with very smart people and then listen to them. Trump and Barr have gone far enough and need to be stopped before it is entirely too late and irreversible. I may come from a country that isn't without its historical controversy, but smart people learn from the past. Absent that we are doomed to failure.

Donald Trump, Barr, and the former GOP, are the perfect example of how to fail by feeding the rich, returning to the past, and refusing to acknowledge and respect that the only way forward for humanity is to embrace a new and forward thinking vision, where everyone has an opportunity to share in the wealth.

It's the success of humanity versus the destructive and selfish world of Trump. He cares about nothing but himself, so let us rise above that and show at the very least that we care about ourselves, our families, and the success of each other.
