🆕 Introducing a National Geographic Excursion: Exploring the Underworld and Mayan Culture 🇲🇽

Operated by TUI and designed in collaboration with National Geographic Expeditions, over 40 Day Tours are now available online, in travel shops and in destination. They operate in both beach 🏖 and city 🌆 locations, from Rome and Rhodes, to Naples and New York. 🗽

New at Brussels Airport: Taxibot 🛫

Have you ever heard of a #Taxibot? 🚕🤖🤔

TUI fly is the first airline in Brussels Airport to test the Taxibot as part of the Stargate - EU Green Deal programme, a project for more sustainable aviation. 

But what exactly is a Taxibot? 🚛 It is a semi-autonomous aircraft towing system that can significantly reduce the environmental impact of taxiing: the biodiesel-powered Taxibot replaces the aircraft engines.   

The results?

✔ A significant reduction in jet fuel consumption and up to 85% reduction in emissions (CO2, UFP, NOx, etc.);

✔ A reduction of up to 60% in noise for ground operations.  

TUI is proud of this partnership with Brussels Airport, which allows us to make a further contribution to more sustainable aviation. Also check out the TUI Sustainability Agenda for plans to reduce emissions across our business by 2030 significantly and become a net-zero company before 2050.

First ROBINSON Club in Hoi An 🇻🇳

Exciting news for our ROBINSON and TUI BLUE fans. #Vietnam is an emerging tourism destination and therefore TUI is taking this trend as an opportunity to expand its hotel portfolio. 🏨 The first ROBINSON Club will open in Vietnam at the end of 2024. The existing TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An will be converted into the premium club concept. With the launch of the premium club brand, TUI Group is strengthening its position in the region and offering its guests hotel experiences ranging from personalised to club holidays. 😎

At the same time the TUI BLUE portfolio in Vietnam has been consistently expanded with two openings this year: TUI BLUE Nha Trang and TUI BLUE Tuy Hoa 🎉

Promotion of our junior staff 🚀

The promotion of junior staff plays an important role at TUI. That is why 8 travel professionals-to-be from the team in Switzerland travelled recently to #Fuerteventura to gain practical experience.

On the Canary island, they familiarised themselves with the various TUI hotels and their concepts. The trainees explored the island's unique dune and beach landscape as well as the town of Corralejo. Another highlight was the sighting of several dolphins as well as a pilot whale, which they enjoyed on a catamaran trip organised by TUI Musement. Our young trainees are now highly motivated for the upcoming exams and the remaining apprenticeship period.
