Italy: SYSTRA contributes further to the Brenner Base Tunnel

SYSTRA is to participate in the supply of railway equipment and systems for the Brenner base #tunnel, under construction in the Alps 📍,as part of a consortium led by Italferr S.p.A..

The Brenner base tunnel is one of the longest rail tunnels currently under construction in the world. By 2032, it will enable the Austrian and Italian networks to interconnect with mixed conventional and high-speed connections for goods and passengers.

Chile: SYSTRA accompanies the creation of a new metro line in Santiago

In Santiago, Chile 📍, SYSTRA is to draw up preliminary studies for the systems on line 9 for Metro de Santiago S.A., the network manager and operator, a long-standing client that we have been working with since the creation of the Santiago #metro.

USA: High-speed rail win for SYSTRA in California

SYSTRA USA, in a joint venture (JV) with TYPSA, has been selected by the California High-Speed Rail Authority to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, and state-of-the-art track and overhead contact system (OCS) design for the entire guideway from Merced to Bakersfield on the future high-speed line (HSL) in California.

Egypt: Another phase in the Electric Express Train's High-speed rail network

SYSTRA Egypt continues to support the new high-speed rail network project in Egypt 📍, with the first trial in Germany of the first high-speed train built by Siemens. Already working on the PMC contract for the Green Line since 2022, SYSTRA has just signed a new PMC contract for the Red Line and Blue Line, with SYSTRA 65% leader and Egis 35% co-contractor.

France: two major metro inaugurations for the Paris metro

✅ June 2024 saw the extension of lines 11 and 14 of the Paris metro. Their inauguration, just a few weeks before the summer 2024 sporting events, represents the culmination of several years' work for SYSTRA France's teams, and a great source of pride for the SYSTRA Group as a whole.

🚇 1️⃣4️⃣ From 24 June 2024, line 14 of the Paris metro will extend south to Orly airport and north to Saint-Denis-Pleyel. This line will be the longest in the Paris region and the backbone of the #GrandParisExpress. SYSTRA has worked alongside setec (leader of the Elios consortium) in project management for all the infrastructure on line 14 South, the renewal of the train operation automation system for RATPgroup, and in Systems Project Management Assistance for the Saint-Denis - Pleyel station for Société des grands projets

🚇 1️⃣1️⃣ Since 13 June 2024, line 11 of the Paris metro has linked Les Lilas to Rosny-sous-Bois, providing direct access to the centre of Paris and offering new connections to the Île-de-France Mobilités network.

SYSTRA was involved in all of the underground phases of the project, as prime contractor for the infrastructure and development of the tunnels and 4 stations.

France: Facelift for the structure roof of the Roissy TGV Airport rail station

🚉✨ The steel structure and glass roof of the "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle TGV" station are getting a facelift.

SYSTRA France acted as General Contractor and Works Contractor for this project and, as Operational Safety Representative, supervised the rail cleaning operations carried out by GROUPE JARNIAS, a company specialising in work at height.

Denmark: Five new stations for the Copenhagen metro

The extension of line M4 of the Copenhagen metro network, which links the heart of the Danish capital to the Copenhagen South station district in the south-west, was inaugurated on Saturday June 22.

Spain: Excavation begins on the tunnel of the Vallehermoso Bypass, La Gomera

In a joint venture with SISTEMA INGENIERIA, UG21 Engineering and Evalua Soluciones Ambientales, SYSTRA Subterra is working on this technical assistance in the control and surveillance service during the execution of the work "Carretera Vallehermoso-Arure (2nd Phase). Variante de Vallehermoso" of the Government of the Canary Islands.

The GM-1 road corresponds to an infrastructure of Regional Interest and is the main communication road in the north of the island of La Gomera, whose route runs from San Sebastián de La Gomera to Valle Gran Rey, passing through the municipalities of San Sebastián, Hermigua, Agulo, Vallehermoso and Valle Gran Rey.

Norway: Running event for colleagues

Our colleagues from SYSTRA Norge Consulting participated in the OBOS Fornebuløpet, a mass event for both elite and recreational runners. A great race to participate in as a team, during which some chose 3.5 km, others 10 km and those who really wanted to sweat!

Our colleagues contributed with enthusiasm, perseverance and good sportsmanship. 🤩
