A contract for two new high-speed lines in Egypt

We are very pleased to announce that we have just been awarded a contract in Egypt 📍 to supervise the construction of two new high-speed lines 🚄, following on from our contract for the first Egyptian High Speed Line signed in November 2021.

We will carry out this assignment at the head of a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) consortium with Egis, on behalf of the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT), our long-standing partner.

On delivery, the EET (Electric Express Train) will carry passengers and freight on 2,000 km of lines divided into three lines (Green, Blue, Red).

SYSTRA is proud to contribute to the creation of this reliable, safe and sustainable mode of transport for Egyptians, tourists and freight operators throughout the country.

[SOLIDARITY🤝] A bridge for communities in Rwanda

Already a week over for our international SYSTRA team who headed to Rwanda 📍 with Bridges to Prosperity (B2P), a non-profit organisation that builds bridges to help populations in rural and remote areas. This bridge will be their 500th one 🎂!

10 SYSTRA employees coming from India, France, Dubai, Canada, Brazil and the United Kingdom are building since last Monday a new bridge in the Rulindo region, in the north of Kigali.

This 59metres bridge will safely connect two areas of the 'Land of the Thousand Hills'. In only 5 days, the work has made major progress 💪, as you can see on the pictures: launching of the safety cable, construction of the deck, installation of the crossbeam supports and of the retaining cables.

Since 2014, SYSTRA and SYSTRA International Bridge Technologies contributed in the construction of 7 bridges with B2P.

#Solidarity and mutual aid move the world. Let's go #connectedteams!

Fighting against all forms of discrimination and guaranteeing the best working conditions for our employees with #disabilities, that's the mission SYSTRA France has set itself.

Let's take advantage of this key moment to raise awareness of the importance of #inclusion and raise the profile of this issue. With this year's theme unique to SYSTRA: the invisible handicap, we're determined to "popularize handicap so that it doesn't become a dirty word".

Because the first way to raise awareness is to open up dialogue, on the program we're inviting employees to :

👉 Learn about the disability agreement signed in 2023.

👉 Sharing an exchange breakfast specially produced by Les Fourneaux de Marthe et Matthieu and hosted by disability referent Valérie du Peloux and our nurses Marina DUVAIL and Sézélia BERTOUX.

👉 Taking the time to decipher a series of playful, educational posters that break down preconceived ideas because 80% of disabilities are invisible tonwen jones for the Colagene Paris agency.
