Michigan Job Seekers Receive $ 10,000 Just For Searching For Employment.
Southfield, Michigan – Hired In Michigan, a community empowerment initiative and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024 Michigan Career Expos, a transformative event for job seekers. The series will begin on March 27, 2024, and culminate on December 19, 2024, in Southfield, Michigan.
In a remarkable move to support individuals affected by layoffs or company buyouts, Hired In Michigan has pledged to donate a total of $10,000 in 2024 to proactive job candidates who participate in the expos. This initiative underlines our commitment to fostering employment opportunities and supporting the local workforce in their job search journey. “The local job market continues to lose job seekers as they gravitate toward TikTok selling, trendy video content creation, or outsourced Fiverr gig worker assignments. We are telling job seekers to secure stable employment with local Michigan employers that offer reliable pay, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement,” says CJ Eason, President of Community Outreach.
Event Highlights:
Empowerment Through Participation: "We believe in rewarding the dedication and effort of job seekers. This Expo is not just about finding a job; it’s about embarking on a fulfilling career path. By simply engaging in conversations and learning about the opportunities available, candidates demonstrate their commitment to professional growth," says CJ Eason, President of Community Outreach. CJ further adds, “In 2023, we witnessed a significant increase in employment rates within the sectors represented at our expos. This year, we anticipate even more impactful results.”
Urgent Plea to Employers: Be a Part of Positive Change as Exhibitors at the 2024 Michigan Career Expo.
