The SGI Christmas Party 2023
SGI celebrated what could arguably be considered the best party in the company's history.
Hosted at Six Park Place, The Royal Overseas League Hotel, the black tie event, was an evening of reflection, awards, and appreciation.
All the hard work that has gone into the past year on individual, team, and company level was recognised over some delicious food, champagne and music. As a company, we've gone above and beyond this year to ensure our clients, candidates, and communities thrive in the tech industry, and continue to build towards a better future.
So, from all of us to you, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A huge and well-deserved congratulations to all our award winners this year. It has been one of the most memorable and successful years in SGI’s history, and it wouldn’t have happened without each of the winners, nominees, and all those behind the scenes that make SGI the recruitment company it is.
Great Place to Work 2023
Just as important as celebrating individual performances, coming together as a team is was also in focus for SGI this year. This past November, SGI was accredited as a Great Place To Work UK 2023. We received the certification after a rigorous survey regarding workplace environment and culture was submitted by about 90% of our employees.
We’re really proud of the environment that has been created at SGI as a platform that empowers employees and this is an environment we can all be proud of creating.

Over the past year, we’ve put a massive focus on building communities within the tech industry that speak to the diverse identities and skill sets that make it. Our goal was to provide platforms and speaking opportunities for the unsung heroes, and skilled talent such as SuperWomen In Tech, On Kotlin, and On Cyber are testament to this.
In the past 12 months, we’ve hosted expert speakers from companies such as OLX, HelloFresh, Zopa Bank, Orange Business Services, SumUp, and more. Discussing diversity & inclusion, unconscious bias, and leadership, as well as more tech-focused events like our Kotlin meet up.
These events have been organized internally and are hosted by members of our own team. So it's been one of the more rewarding ways we set out to bring value to our industry.

🌳 Ecologi Trees - Growing Together, Sustainably
In our commitment to environmental responsibility, we are proud to share our partnership with Ecologi | B Corp™ .
Together, we've planted 2110 trees to offset our carbon footprint, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
Each tree we plant is a result of a candidate we’ve successfully placed. Our team is relatively small, but the progress is significant, and we’re motivated to expand our forest even more in the new year.
SGI & Great Ormond Street Hospital
This year, we've poured our efforts into giving back. Whether through dedicated sales days, internal donations, or spirited fundraisers, we're thrilled to share that we've raised an incredible £3400 for our charity partners Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
Being part of something bigger than ourselves, and contributing to a cause as worthy as this, has made our year truly special. More than just numbers; it's a shared journey of compassion and impact.
As we close out the year, we're grateful for the chance to make a difference.
