Salesforce Announces Einstein GPT, the World’s First Generative AI for CRM

Salesforce has introduced Einstein GPT, the world's first generative AI CRM platform, which offers AI-created content at scale across every sales, service, marketing, commerce, and IT contact. Salesforce will use generative AI to revolutionise every customer experience with Einstein GPT.

Einstein GPT will inject generative AI technology from an ecosystem of partners into Salesforce's own AI models, as well as real-time data from the Salesforce Data Cloud, which ingests, harmonises, and integrates all of a company's customer data. Customers can then utilise Einstein GPT to link that data to OpenAI's powerful AI models out of the box, or pick their own external model and use natural-language prompts from within their Salesforce CRM to produce content that reacts to changing customer information and demands in real time.

Einstein GPT, for example, can generate personalised emails for salespeople to send to customers, specific responses for customer service professionals to answer customer questions more quickly, targeted content for marketers to increase campaign response rates, and auto-generate code for developers.

Integration with OpenAI:

To offer relevant and trustworthy AI-generated content, Salesforce is merging OpenAI's enterprise-grade ChatGPT technology with Salesforce's proprietary AI models.

The latest version of Salesforce's Einstein AI technology, known as Einstein GPT, will generate more than 200 billion AI-powered predictions every day across the Customer 360. Additionally, clients can use ChatGPT or other top large language models in conjunction with proprietary Einstein AI models to combine natural language prompts with CRM data to activate potent, time-saving automations and produce personalised, AI-generated content. Taking off today are:

  • Einstein GPT for Sales: Creation of sales chores automatically, such as writing emails, setting up meetings, and getting ready for the next conversation.
  • Einstein GPT for Service: Creation of knowledge articles from previous case notes. Increase customer satisfaction through tailored and quicker service encounters by auto-generating customised agent chat responses.
  • Einstein GPT for Marketing: Get personalised content on demand to engage clients and prospects across advertising, mobile, online, and email.
  • Einstein GPT for Slack Customer 360 apps: Deliver AI-powered customer insights via Slack by surfacing end user behaviours like editing knowledge articles and providing smart summaries of sales prospects.
  • Einstein GPT for Developers: Enhance developer productivity by employing an AI chat assistant to produce code and ask questions for languages like Apex using Salesforce Research's proprietary large language model.
  • ChatGPT for Slack, built by OpenAI: Moreover, the ChatGPT for Slack app was introduced today by Salesforce and OpenAI. The app offers brand-new discussion summaries powered by AI, features for learning about any subject, and writing aid for message drafting swiftly.
