The NCR headquarter campus in Midtown's Technology Square is the frontrunner to land a new Atlanta office for global ag company Cargill, Amy Wenk reports. Minneapolis-based Cargill is the largest private company headquartered in the United States, and it has 160,000 employees worldwide. Anila Yoganathan dug into a Fulton County development authority agenda and discovered that Microsoft was seeking a major tax break to plant a data center in Union City. After some debate, the development authority approved the tax break. Anila has more intel on what Microsoft is getting, and what the company plans to do in south Fulton.

Amy and Anila teamed up to report on the next phase of redevelopment in South Downtown. The owners of a 10-block portfolio are embarking on a $100 million plan that they hope to complete by 2026, when the World Cup will come to their doorstep. John Birdsong, one of the leaders of the SoDo venture, told Amy and Anila what people can expect from the project.
