While the average growth rate for most occupations is 5%,The National Bureau of Labor Statistics states the job outlook for nursing is 6% growth between 2021 and 2031. Each year between now and 2031, we will see approximately 203,000 jobs for Registered Nurses (RNs). Statistics for specified nursing skills are even more competitive - for example, RNs supporting health plans with specialized skill sets such as case review, utilization review, etc.
