Iran's supposed disarmament will cause global armament

There are many perspectives about today’s announced Iranian nuclear deal. Those views well publicized are that there will really be no prospective 24/7 inspections of Iran’s facilities and that the US has not strengthened its hand to contain nuclear development in Iran.

Some view the current deal as not just a give-away to Iran but an assurance that the nuclear arms race will accelerate in Africa and the Middle East as Egypt, Jordan, and especially Saudi Arabia will pursue their plans to develop nuclear capabilities, as these countries are wanting to move towards nuclear energy. Say what?  Well, nuclear energy is a legitimate pathway to developing nuclear knowledge which can lead one day to nuclear weaponry.  It certainly makes more complicated the task of tracking nuclear fuels and making sure that even used fuel is safeguarded.

Another perspective is that this deal is a catch up effort by Obama to suppress Russia’s growing and strengthening aggression. Obama is thought to believe that he can make Iran into a friend.   A second, say what? Yes, Iran’s natural gas delivered into Europe will lessen Russia’s hold on Europe …that is IF they befriend us and IF they agree to European delivery.

In case anyone thinks that this is a good deal, think again.  In case anyone thinks that the world is a safer place given this deal, think again.  It probably makes for even more pressure on oil prices LONG TERM, (as short term is subject to many vicissitudes.)   There will be more energy in crude and natural gas made available to the  buying markets.
